Returns and Refunds

This policy outlines the conditions under which services and products purchased at Posh and Bliss Beauty and Nail Salon may be eligible for a refund, credit, or exchange.

2. Service Refunds and Corrections Policy
2.1. No Cash Refunds for Services

We do not offer cash refunds for completed services. We stand firmly behind the quality of our work and the expertise of our licensed therapists. If you are dissatisfied with a service, we offer a strict correction policy.

2.2. Service Correction/Fix Policy (Guarantee)

If you are unhappy with the quality of the service provided, you must inform a staff member or the Salon Manager before leaving the salon.

  • Service Fix Guarantee Period (Nails): We offer a seven (7) days guarantee period for nail enhancements (gel, acrylic, or builder gel). If you experience chipping, lifting, or product failure within 72 hours of your appointment, we will perform a repair free of charge.

  • Conditions for Free Fix: The free fix is only valid if:

    • You contact us within the 3-day period.

    • The damage is due to product failure or application error, not client negligence, abuse, or failure to follow the aftercare instructions provided by your technician.

2.3. Dissatisfaction After Leaving the Salon

If you notice an issue after leaving the salon, you must contact us by phone or email within 48 hours of the original appointment to discuss the issue. The Salon Manager will assess the situation and may offer a complimentary correction appointment.

2.4. Treatment Suitability

We rely on the health information provided by the client during the consultation. If a service cannot be completed or fails due to undisclosed allergies, medical conditions, or medications, no refund will be issued.

3. Retail Product Returns and Exchanges

This section applies to all beauty products, tools, and accessories purchased directly from the Posh and Bliss salon retail area.

3.1. General Return Conditions
  • Time Limit: Products may be returned or exchanged within seven (7) days of the date of purchase.

  • Proof of Purchase: All returns or exchanges must be accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase.

  • Condition: Products must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging with all seals intact.

3.2. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged once the packaging has been opened or the product has been used:

  • Nail polishes, gels, or lacquers (unless defective).

  • Any cosmetic item (e.g., lipstick, mascara, makeup brushes).

  • Foot files, cuticle pushers, or any other personal hygiene tools.

  • Gift vouchers or gift cards.

3.3. Defective Products

If a retail product is found to be defective (e.g., a pump dispenser that does not work, packaging seal compromised), please return it immediately. We will gladly exchange the defective product for a new item or issue a full refund to the original payment method.

4. Refund Process (Applicable only to Product Returns)
4.1. Refund Method

If a refund is approved for a retail product return:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

  • Refunds for cash purchases over a certain value (e.g., R500) may be processed via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to a nominated bank account.

4.2. Processing Time

Please allow 7 to 10 working days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your bank account, depending on your banking institution.

5. Gift Vouchers and Credits
  • Vouchers are Non-Refundable: Gift vouchers purchased from Posh and Bliss are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

  • Voucher Expiration: All gift vouchers will have an expiration date clearly marked. Services must be redeemed before this date.

  • Salon Credit: Any internal credit issued by the salon (e.g., for certain service adjustments) must be used within six (6) months of the date of issue.
